Another bumper round of Good Friday football and netball highlights the recently-released 2020 Murray Football Netball League fixture.
The round two holiday feast includes a senior football grand final rematch between Nathalia and Tongala, as well as another chapter of the storied A-grade netball rivalry between Echuca United and Moama.
And that is not the only huge fixture slated for Good Friday, with a local derby day between Barooga and Cobram sure to bring the fans flocking through the gates, while Finley and Deniliquin's clash will be a night extravaganza.
The 18-round fixture includes split rounds in rounds seven and 16, as well as a general bye after round 12 on the July 4 weekend.
Other eye-catching clashes include the traditional early season Sunday games between Numurkah and Nathalia in round four, with the duo again to meet on a Sunday when they square off in round 15.
Reigning senior football premier Nathalia starts its campaign away at Deniliquin before its grand final rematch with the Blues, while it will also have round six's monster showdown with Echuca United circled on the fixture.
Tongala has the Eagles first-up and then the Purples, but with Katandra and Rumbalara to complete the opening month, it would feel confident about compiling a positive win-loss record.
Cobram hosts Mulwala in round one before its local derby and will have to wait until round 11 to gain a degree of redemption when it battles Congupna, the team that eliminated it from this year's finals.
The Tigers do not face any of last year's top-five senior football sides until round seven meaning they would be confident of building wins to start the year, while it is a similar story for the the Road with no top-five meetings until round five.
Barooga, looking to build on last year's 10th-ranked finish, will travel to Numurkah to start the season, and has a second derby day locked in against Cobram for round nine.
